Specialist Content Creator - Paid Digital

Full‑time or Freelance | Hybrid | Based in our Darley Abbey Studio

Fluid Ideas is growing - and with that growth comes a brand-new opportunity. For the first time, we’re looking for a Specialist Content Creator for Paid Digital to join our Performance & Innovation team.

Our paid media partnerships have expanded significantly in the last 12–18 months, with clients increasingly investing in performance-led creative. To support this, we’re looking for someone who knows how to create content that converts - someone with the rare blend of creativity, performance insight, channel knowledge and ambition.

This role can be full‑time or freelance, depending on the person.

What you’ll do

  • Create high‑performing paid social assets across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and emerging formats

  • Develop creative ideas grounded in audience insight, platform behaviour and performance data

  • Produce a range of content formats predominantly including:

  • Short‑form video and UGC‑style creative

  • Variants for A/B testing, hooks, messaging angles and CTAs

  • Work closely with the P&I team to understand campaign objectives and performance trends

  • Optimise creative based on data-led insights, using learnings to refine future concepts

  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters and account managers to ensure creative aligns with brand identity and wider campaign goals

  • Stay ahead of digital trends, paid media formats, platform changes and best practice

  • Contribute to creative pitches, campaign planning and ideation sessions

  • Support with storyboarding, scripting and directing content when required

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience creating content for paid social or performance-driven campaigns

  • Strong knowledge of how creative performs across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and broader digital paid channels

  • Ability to design, shoot and edit content (phone or camera) with a high standard of execution

  • Comfortable producing content that feels native to the platform - not just repurposed organic creative

  • Strong understanding of performance principles: hooks, messaging angles, social proof, pacing, thumb‑stop moments, retention tactics

  • Ability to interpret data and turn insights into creative improvements

  • Highly collaborative, proactive and comfortable working within a multi‑disciplinary team

  • Commercial awareness and the ability to adapt between sectors, audiences and brand styles

Nice to have (but not essential)

  • Experience working directly with paid specialists

  • Understanding of TikTok Spark Ads, Meta Advantage+, LinkedIn ad formats and/or YouTube Shorts

  • Experience working with influencers or creators

  • Knowledge of after-effects/motion graphics

  • Ability to produce content in different shooting styles (lo-fi, studio-style, founder-led, testimonial, screen-record, etc.)

Why this role is exciting

  • It’s the first role of its kind at Fluid, giving you the chance to help shape the future of performance creative

  • You’ll work across a diverse client base, from established brands to fast-growing disruptors

  • You’ll be part of a team that values innovation, experimentation and continuous learning

  • You’ll have the freedom to test, iterate and push creative boundaries

  • You’ll work closely with a performance team that loves data but also values creative intuition
