New Fluid studio - artist impression - infinity cove

We’ve been keeping a secret, but it’s just too exciting not to share.

At the end of last year, we picked up the keys to an exciting space here at Darley Abbey Mills. It’s the old Engine House, and we’ve got some rather exciting plans for it.

We’re currently in the process of renovating the Engine House to become a brand new multi-purpose space for Fluid, our clients and the local creative community.

It will have a dedicated drive-in photography studio (which will also be available to hire), and will feature an infinity cove area with overhead lighting rig, as well as a working kitchen set.

Plans for an audio booth for voiceovers and podcast recording are also afoot.

The space will also be hireable for events – whether that’s a corporate off-site meeting place, or a quirky setting for get-togethers, talks, product launches and, well, there’s plenty of scope to get creative.

Our new dedicated website and booking portal will be launching soon, and will be full of additional information about our planned facilities and how you can hire the space for your own photoshoot, podcast recording or event.

Until then, these artist impressions will give you an idea of what we have in store for the new studio…
