Meet Shane

I’m one of the Lead Creatives and an Associate Partner here at Fluid. A key part of my role is to help develop our creative offering and ensure that the essence of Fluid is woven into every creative project that comes through our door, across all of our teams and disciplines. On a day-to-day basis it can be very varied, and range from running brand immersion sessions with new clients and developing brand concepts and strategy, through to ideas for marketing campaigns and tone of voice copywriting. It sounds clichéd but no day is ever the same.

Passion

Unsurprisingly my passion lies in anything creative... but what really gets me going is a knockout concept –  it's that moment when you know you've got a great idea and can't wait to share it with the team and client. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, binging Netflix shows, eating out and the gym (to try and balance out the TV and eating out). I've also recently started to learn to mix music, something I've wanted to do for years but have seemed to have saved it for my 'mid-life crisis' moment.

Achievement

Blimey, this is a tricky one as I’m fortunate to have many, many proud moments. If I had to pick a couple the first would be leading a team that created, developed and delivered an award-winning campaign for Scarsdale Vets, a long-standing client of Fluid. Everyone involved, including the client loved the campaign, but to get industry-wide recognition was the icing on the cake. My second is on a more personal level. We’re really fortunate to work somewhere that truly values, and cares for our team. Whether it’s your first job or have many Fluid years under your belt, we continually encourage people to push themselves and flourish, and being able to contribute to this is immensely rewarding.

Weekend

An ideal weekend for me would be spent with the family on a short city or countryside break, discovering the sights and sounds (and coffee shops) of somewhere new.
